johnny Drop to shell and just execute dig api.openai.com and make sure it responding back with an IP Address or you can just do a simple ping and see as well.
smileglobal Hi guys, I'm also having an issue with this. Created an API key tonight, configured the integration and when I try the "Test Input Test to Reword" it just sits at "Processing" and never throws an error or moves past it. I'm running latest updates. In the OpenAI Dashboard I show no API queries. Did a "dig api.openai.com" from the CLI on my VM hosting ITFlow and it resolves instantly. Any ideas?
johnny Hi @smileglobal This has been fixed. This only affected the test portion but it should work now itflow-org/itflowa40ec71 Go ahead and update
smileglobal johnny Thanks Johnny! Just updated and works like a charm now! Appreciate your quick turnaround on fixing it.
Bigbug smileglobal How did you got it working? can you please share exact instructions? or anyone here can share a solution? I'm getting the same error: "Failed to get a response from the OpenAI API." @johnny @wrongecho any idea? is there anything i have to configure on OpenAI besides the API keys? Thanks 🙏
NBms4 Is it necessary to have premium on OpenAI? i sadly get the error "Failed to get a response from the OpenAI API." even tho it looks like that everything is configured right
johnny NBms4 yes you have to have the paid option. If you have a good graphics card you can use the free and opensource AI https://ollama.com/ which has tons of models some performing similar to GPT4 and is OpenAI API Compatible. This is probably the best solution since the data is 100% private
lazerusrm This issue doesn't seem to be resolved, not working, tried GPT-4 model, gpt-3.5-turbo and url as suggested. i can't see any errors in the logs for this, so im not sure where to look for troubleshooting. created a new api key twice and still no dice
smileglobal lazerusrm Are you having an issue with the AI test dialog, or within the tickets themselves? The integration for the tickets is working great for us now. So far, it's only cost us a whopping seven cents.
johnny @lazerusrm It could be possible that OpenAI is blocking your IP from where you have ITFlow. It may be worth it to reach out to their support to see if thats the case
