Blank Page During Database Setup Even After Using Recommended Script

Hello,

As description states. I used the recommended setup script which automatically created a database and user accounts for me. I can see the database and user information via SSH. I went to the setup page and entered that information for my database setup and it just loads to a blank screen. No errors or anything.

I tried to make a new database as well as a test and samething. It just loads a blank screen.

Anything else I can do here?

For anyone still running into this problem when using the installation script. Issue appears to be with some type of redirect or something that prevents the browser from moving into the next steps. I installed Unbuntu Desktop Experience and logged into the host machine. I was able to get past the database setup part when using the browser directly installed on the host machine.

Crazy, I'm running into this myself and tried from the host machine but no difference.

I ended up reinstalling and am running into this during setup. If you direct me on how to grab the relevant logs, I'd be happy to get them for you. 😀

PHP error logs are at /var/log/Apache2/error.log

If you're reinstalled and the old database & user still exists, the script is probably failing to create both.
