Switch ports VLAN and decriptions

Hi guys,

I'm using more and more ITFlow for some customers. Usualy, I'm documenting what is on each switch ports. Can we add something, new table in background, to be able to match "how many port switch have" then match VLAN configured in Networks? When the asset is a switch, it is normal to have configured ports.

Heres a quick markup of what the SQL table will look like:

port_id

port_number

port_description

port_connected_asset - References an asset that does not have associated ID custom asset not listed under assets

port_ip_address

port_connected_asset_id - references another asset by id

port_network_id - References Network along with the vLAN

port_asset_id - References the switch, firewall device etc

I saw that there is a DB update about that today! Is it ready in the UI?

Hi @Wikiphil still working on it, the ui is not quite ready yet hopefully by tommarow

In the same idea, port description should be great in firewall too! :-)

We can use the same table of the switch, new column for network equipement type.

VPN informations too!

VPN Site-to-Site, Phase1, Phase2, Preshared key, encryption domain, etc.

@Wikiphil I concur, the interface table will be able to reference any asset that has a networking interface.
