"Invalid A Record" for itflow.domainname.com within letsencrypt.log file

Hello,

I've tried running your installation script on Debain 12. I've looked at my letsencrypt bot logs since I notice this is where I was having issues when trying to setup ITFlow.

I have an A record pointing to the IP Address of the server that it's being hosted on
I recently also decided to point the itflow.domainname.com as an a record within my domain hosting providers DNS settings (Sqaurespace) to see if this will fix the issue.

Is there something that I'm missing here.

n0legs33k3r To clarify when I added the "itflow.domainname.com as an A Record with Sqaurespace.. I have it being pointed to that exact same IP Address of the server as well.

It doesn't appear like you have an A record for that subdomain pointing to the IP address

You seem to have name servers from both NSONE.NET and SQUARESPACEDNS.COM. This is unusual and is probably the cause of your problems. Generally you'd just have one authoritative provider.

It looks like Square space is your registrar, so your name servers would be configured there.

DNS Administration is beyond the scope of ITFlow - we expect that you're an IT admin and you know how to setup an A record. You'd need to reach out to your provider for further support as changes to name servers can be risky and result in website / email downtime.

I was able to figure it out. Squarespace's DNS settings were incorrect and I didn't need to add the .domainname.com piece.

Please close this out and censor this info if possible..
