Blank Page After Recommended Installation Script

Hello,

After successfully running the install script (recommended) I've ran into the issue where I'm greeted to Begin Setup. Then I get to the "Database Connection Details" page to which I input the following info:

DatabaseName: Whatever Name I put in here
Database Host: I imagine this is where the IP Address of the host where ITFlow is being ran on so I fill this out
Default creds.

From there It's just a blank screen.

I've tried running through the process again and nothing.
I've destroyed my Linux VM and rebuilt it twice and nothing.
I've even installed Gnome on one attempt and tried to use the GUI on the local VM to see if I can set it up on the "local host" if that would give me anything similarly to how this gentleman here mentioned https://forum.itflow.org/d/733-blank-page-during-database-setup-even-after-using-recommended-script/ There was no luck with this either.

I'm currently looking to find the directory where PHP Logs would be stored. I've tried "/var/www/html/config.php"

Although that directory doesn't seem to exist.

I just noticed this now, I see you mentioned you put the IP Address of your VM in the hostname try just putting in localhost instead as MySQL/MariaDB only accepts local connections for the itflow database user that was created

And this too you mention you put whatever name here fr the database name. The database name should say itflow

Thanks for your detailed* post.

Could you please share your PHP error logs from /var/log/apache2/error.log ? Usually it's best to use something like Pastebin.

Sorry I'm struggling a bit to grab the data since I don't have a way to easily "copy and paste" from the VM. I'll see if I can get you the logs via pastebin here once I figure that out.

However, I do see once I've cat cat/var/log/apache2.error.log.

I see things like

This would suggest you're using the wrong database credentials.

I'm only seeing a Connection refused error and not accessed denied.

The error message you shared suggests the database service is running but you're inputting invalid credentials.

You could try restarting the local Mariadb service if you think that's the issue

I'm really struggling here…

I've inputted my creds after rebooting that service, tried running the script again with new creds and rebuilt the VM on both Debian and Ubuntu multiple times. I keep hitting blank after confirming I have the correct credentials.

I enter the following creds below and still get the error as seen in the images.

Hey @n0legs33k3r I just did a script install on a fresh debian 12 Virtual Machine with the latest update.

I am not able to replicate
