Client create API endpoint

Hi, I'm wondering how to add the contact info to a client with the client create endpoint.

it doesn't seem to support the fields that are used to create a client/lead on the webUI

like the contact fields shown above. Name, Title, Phone, Mobile and Email.

how should i go about that?

Hey @Bigbug 🙂

Clients and contacts are separate (the GUI just makes it a nice flow for you).

You'd need to use the contacts API to create the primary / any other contacts for your newly created client.

wrongecho how should my script know the client ID to which to assign that contact, would i have to use the read endpoint to retrieve that ID and then use it to create the contact?

The Client ID is returned in the response as data.insert_id, in my example the new client ID is 160.

wrongecho can you please add "contact_primary" to the API so i can set the contact as primary?
