ITFlow seems to use American phone number formatting even when the country is set to Australia. Here, we have a two-digit region code in brackets, then split up our phone numbers like so:
(01) 2345 6789
If it begins with a +61, the 0 is removed, so the above number would be +61 1 2345 6789. But we wouldn't generally publish our country code in email signatures and whatnot unless the company deals with overseas clients. So showing +61 or not should be a togglable option somewhere.
If it is a mobile number, the phone number always starts as 04 (or +61 4) and is formatted a bit differently:
0412 345 678
+61 412 345 678
