XLS/CSV template import for client users

The idea would be to have a template similar to HaloPSA where you can import users from a downloadable CSV template into the client. As long as you populate the defined columns that data will populate the user with whatever you have submitted to be read by the system.

I've not used HaloPSA but we do allow the ability to import client contacts/users already

wrongecho I think what he says is that there should be an option to download an example file that's is pre-populated with the required fields, instead of having to manually setup such a spreadsheet

There is a "Download sample csv" for most operations. The link also shows in the screen capture above 🙂

I believe there's a difference between "Clients" and "Contacts".

Under "Contacts" I do see the option to import

However under "Clients" I do not see that option.

Or am I missing something here?

I'd prefer to be able to import clients first, and then import or add contacts later.

Is that an option?
