So the app itself is working, doesn't seem like an issue with Apache/PHP/MariaDB on the infra side.

Go ahead and do the login, let it error out and then try and go to itflow.example.com/settings_update.php and check/run updates

I'm not convinced the issue is the app/database being out of date. Were you fully up to date at the time the host died?

This is a little puzzling to me. Assuming you just imported the VHDX you shouldn't be getting issues like this.

The only thing I can think is that you've run a git pull and are outstanding database updates?

PM creation is turned off for standard users as this is the public support forum - we have the donator support for private queries. What did you want to PM?

Was going to let you poke around. I haven't run any git or update commands. just restored the vhdx and turned it on.

How much is paid support?

Ah I see. It's not really something I personally do for forum support as the workload is fairly high here anymore. I know Johnny has a few times but he's usually busy with his own work too. You can see here for donator support details if you are interested, but it's intended more as ongoing support rather than one-off incidents.

Can you confirm the current database version of your install? You'll need to connect to the ITFlow database > settings table > config_current_database_version column

Usually

Sudo mysql

Use itflow (assuming that's the database name)

And then the select:

Select config_current_databaseversionwhere company_id = 1

Select config_current_database_version where *

Select * and manually find the config_current_database_version field

Note: The forum formatting might have messed this up as I'm on mobile. The field you want is config_current_database_version

Yeah, about seven months. It shouldn't be an issue usually, but it seems like the files are newer than the database.

You'll need to manually apply one or more database updates within the MariaDB command line you're currently in until it let's you login.

ok.. I think I made a bit of a boo boo… I just noticed my avdhx is dated the 11th where my vhdx is from May. So I am merging the current snapshot into the vhdx and will import it in to Hyper V

OK that was the issue. I incorporated the snapshot to the vhdx file and moved it to the VM. Everything is backup and running.

This would make a good wiki. Recovering from a failed Hyper-V Server.
