Cron Job Emails

There was not a folder of the monitored email account so I created it. What is that folder for?

ITFlow will move emails it processes to that folder. Seems like there's an issue in the function that checks / creates the folder for you.

Does it work now that you've manually created the folder?

No its still putting them in the systems default New inbox, its not using the monitored email inbox at all, but if I create a new ticket it finds the email and creates the ticket so I am not really sure what is going on. I create an ITFlow folder in all of the places but still throwing that error every 1 minute and putting the error in that New folder.

I'm really confused. The system monitors the mailbox you specify as "IMAP Mail Settings (For Monitoring Ticket Inbox)" at /admin_settings_mail.php

What do you mean "I create an ITFlow folder in all of the places"?

To see if I could stop the error I create a folder called ITFlow as the error says error creating folder, but it made no difference. The email I have it monitoring in settings is called help@midmosecurity.com. I also get thousands of notifications in IT Flow instance under the bell icon in the top bar and they say the below.

What is your Cron setup? Please share an image if possible.

It sounds as though you have Cron.php running every minute (should be daily), rather than the Cron mail parser?

The bottom one for Cron.php is wrong which explains the excessive notifications you're getting. The first character of that should be a 0, and then ideally at 2am instead of midnight.

What errors are you getting from the mail parser now? You'll probably have to temporarily take off the bit at the end to see them.

Just made the change I put 0 and 2am. Thank you for helping with that, I literally had 1000's of email notifications. I will remove the silence at the end and see what happens. I really appreciate you looking at this and finding my mistake.

Its been 5 minutes and no new emails thank the lord! tyty that seemed to have fixed the issue.

Do new emails in the mailbox get processed into tickets?

I havent checked that yet, but plan on it today. I will report back and let you know.
