@jonash That would be beneficial for move requests.
With the system in place, if you want to be able to chase the 'connected to' through to the devices, the only way I could see that being implemented would be the creation of an additional asset (Patch Panel) that has x2 the number of ports. Interface would be front and back. Connect appropriately. Nice about this approach, once the cable goes from the back of the switch into the wall and to the terminating plate, almost never changes. But, you would have to 'click through' potentially several devices to get to the end.
OR, probably much easier to implement, if the ability to view the description was added to each interface line, say on a new line per interface under the Name / Port.
