In utilizing this, I found something that might be able to have an improvement. I can assign server port eth0 to patch panel port 1, but then that makes it difficult to tell that from the patch panel it goes to switch port 1. I can currently have eth0 assigned to Switch01, but then that leaves the patch panel out of the loop.
Is there perhaps a way to have a special device type "Patch Panel" that has a front and back to each interface? That would also be very useful for room Keystone jacks. For instance, From Workstation1 eth0 to Keystone2Port2 to PatchPanel1Port6 to Switch01Port3. Currently I can really only assign ws1eth0 to switch1p3 and leave the keystone jack and patch panel out of the loop except in Notes. If those interfaces could have a front and back side, I could then have the full path noted and they would allow me to click links to devices through the entire chain.
