I do not think we should spend development resources rewriting the wheel here.

Online payments work. And they work via Stripe.

If there is a good reason to add another payment provider, please let us know.

I would see it most beneficial to the community to expand the online payments in other areas.

It is an unfortunate reality in today's political landscape that if I am 'canceled' because of some supposedly disagreeable online post somewhere at ANY point in time, the option needs to be there to change processors so I can continue to collect money owed.

JosephWithCOR Totally agree with you as well. I should rephrase Its not that we won't implement other payment providers, its just something were not going to take on until after 1.0 is release. We are still open for other developers to push PRs but we ask that they obey by our coding standards so keeps the code neat and tidy.

In our MSP we are strictly checks or ACH auto payments although we do have a client that simply refuses to pay that way so we have him using stripe.

Yeah this is tricky. We do have Stripe but if they double their fees or get acquired by Broadcom tomorrow we'd be scrambling for an alternative.

Would it be possible to add in recurring payments for Stripe? I just got my testbed setup and the vast majority of my clients currently enjoy PayPal subscriptions that auto charge each month. Ideally having PayPal integration would cinch the knot because ITFlow is the dream system I have always wanted from what I have seen and experimented with so far but I understand development resources are hard to come by.

Recurring payments for Stripe has come up before. I like it but honestly, we'd probably aim to diversify and add initial support for another provider before doubling down on the investment in Stripe.

Interestingly, the PayPal PHP SDK is archived and directs you to BrainTree as an alternative?: paypal/PayPal-PHP-SDK

Appreciate the link, but only two of those are not archived (and they don't seem very relevant). There has been minimal activity on all of the repos too..

Archived doesn't mean deprecated necessarily, but it doesn't seem the best use of time to be implementing SDKs that are no longer being maintained.

Would really like to see ACH available for Stripe if possible, not only does it cut down on fees for most cases but a lot of my clients prefer ach and check over credit card. I would assume that is the case for most.

wrightwaytech you can actually use ACH thru Stripe, you just have to enable it in your Stripe settings

A PayPal IPN would be awesome, so customers could be able to pay invoices through PayPal from ITFlow, it would also be very nice if it calculated the PayPal fee automatically.

Bigbug I may have to reinstall just to look into this… now if only recurring invoices could happen I could give up using my other payment provider and my psa subscription. Definitely getting closer… I love this project
