I did what you said. The permission for html is set to 777 but i am now getting http error 500.

Keep in mind that config.php was not created again, after the deletion, not sure if this should be a concern. I tried to run the service restart for apache2 also.

Config.php should be automatically created in that itflow.redacted.ca folder.

What do you get in /var/log/apache2/error.log when you try to load the website?

wrongecho keep in mind that i did not save the usernames and passwords that itflow provided right after the installation. i believe this might be causing this issue.

I am using usernames and passwords that i create, and not the ones provided by ITflow program. I dont have that information anymore, could this be the reason for this issue?

The credentials provided by the script will be the username and password for the database. You'll need these for the database setup page (in that image). If you want to choose them yourself, you'll need to login to the database as root and create your own user with access to the database.

AdrianoRaffoul just curious how could you say that you didn't save the username and password the setup script provided? you actually post it in a screenshot right here

wrongecho No problem for now….i may just re-install everything from scratch again later, since this is just a lab demo stuff that i am trying.

Solve the blank page after typing the login

this is the most important now. did you get any clue of what is happening while inspecting the log file?

wrongecho I guess i figered out the issue. It was the username and password for the first access to the database. Since i was using my own username and password, i was getting that blannk page, because i didint save the password right after the installation.

So i created a new machine, run the script and followed all the steps, forward the port configuration on my router, pointing to the A DNS record and boom… it worked, without any problem.

Yeah the error in the log file indicated incorrect database credentials, sorry I wasn't clear.

Bigbug Thank you for pointing that. But i have been playing with this for a long time, i created, deleted, restored, changed many configurations on multiple machines, so basically, the password wasnt important, since it was just a lab. Probably the password that was posted here, wanst the right one for the machine i was working on. The plan was to test ITFlow first, so it wasnt a big deal if i lose the password or not, i could just create a new machine from scratch, and make a new attempt to make it work, based on what you guys would say here.
